Job Title: Brand Manager
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Job Purpose

This position is responsible for assessing consumer and business conditions, developing and executing brand  strategies and plans to achieve business objectives (financial and marketing) for the assigned brand.
Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for elements of consumer marketing and brand administration, including consumer research and analysis, market analysis, brand strategy, product development, pricing, advertising, packaging development, consumer and trade promotions, financial analysis and budget management;
  • Identify and analyze product performance information, anticipate problems and develop strategies and contingency plans to ensure portfolio success; and
  • Develop and maintain monthly update reports on sales, marketing budgets, profitability and provide detailed input to be used by senior management for strategic planning.
Person Specification
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Commerce;
  • At least 4 years brand management experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working with, and influencing all levels within the organization;
  • A team player who can interact freely without inhibition with all customers, internal and external;
  • Exemplary leadership skills, be forward-thinking, aggressive, assertive and adaptable in the pursuit of brand/company objectives; and
  • Solid analytical, problem solving and business commercial skills.
Job Title: Management Trainee
Reporting to: Management Accountant
Job Purpose
This position is an entry position into the Finance department and will be responsible for analysing financial information and tracking production costs against budget performance.
Key Accountabilities
  • Establishing accurate product standard costs based on developed specifications;
  • Monitoring price and production variances and advising their impact on company profitability;
  • Organising and  supervising   monthly   inventory   stock   takes   and reconciliation;
  • Developing accurate financial information for integration into the company financial statements;
  • Offering financial support to stakeholders and supply chain teams to facilitate sound decision making;
  • Developing,  maintaining  and  managing  products cost and tracking methods against budget performance and variance analysis;
  • Maintaining general ledger reconciliations and clearing o/s items; and
  • Analysing financial information to identify drivers of changes.
Person Specification
  • A minimum of an A- in both Mathematics and English at O level;
  • A university graduate in Finance or Accounting with an accountancy qualification such as CPA or ACCA;
  • A maximum of one year working experience;
  • Energetic “can do” attitude to work and with ability to work long hours;
  • Drive to produce high quality work with attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills both in verbal presentations and in writing;
  • Fully computer literate in word-processing, spreadsheets and e-mail; and
  • The candidate must have strong financial, analytical and interpersonal skills and demonstrate their ability to work independently.
Job Title: Executive Secretary
Reporting to: Country Director
Job Purpose
This role will provide organisational and administrative support to the Country Director of Cadbury Kenya and East Africa.
Key Accountabilities
  • Co – ordination and tracking of all business projects;
  • Management of the director’s work diary and mail;
  • Administrative preparation for all cycle meetings and ad hoc meetings including circulation of meeting minutes, consolidation of documents, presentations and agendas;
  • Preparation of reports including Board reports, PowerPoint presentations and confidential documents
  • Travel arrangements (local and international including Visas, Forex and Travel Expense Sheet)
  • Consolidation of various data for the Country Director as required;
  • Organisation of management meetings, conferences and functions at Company and inter-Company, both locally and internationally;
  • General office and administration back-up; and
  • All round secretarial duties delivered at a professional executive level.
Person Specification
  • The ideal candidate will have a relevant University degree;
  • Relevant administration qualification – Project management qualification preferred;
  • Over 5 years experience in a senior Personal Assistant role;
  • Proven skills in diary management and drafting correspondence;
  • Possess the confidence to liaise with Senior Management team and control the daily functions of the office;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High levels of confidentiality;
  • Strong planning and organisational skills;
  • Demonstrate proactive approach with ability to be flexible to changing work demands;
  • Drive to produce high quality work with attention to detail; and
  • Strong level of computer competency, i.e. PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, MS project.
In addition all candidates should display an accountable and adaptable behaviour and have excellent drive, influence and judgement.
