The Company is seeking to recruit an Accountant to be based on the home farm near Kampi Ya Moto in a new position. We are looking for someone who is energetic, honest and can rise to challenges.
Reporting to the Directors, the main purpose of the job will be to effectively manage and coordinate the accounting functions of the company.
Key Responsibilities
The position holder will undertake such duties as;
- Preparation of management and statutory accounts
- Stocks and inventory management
- Budget preparation and presentation
- Variance analysis and control
- Review and implementation of internal systems and controls
- Compliance with statutory obligations and local tax laws
- Payroll administration
The Candidate
The preferred candidate should have the following qualifications and qualities;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Degree in Accounting
- Three years relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team player and change agent
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with accounting packages, e.g. Quick Books
- Agricultural experience will be an added advantage
