Access to Finance Rwanda – Technical Director Job Vacancy

The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), in partnership with the World Bank, the Rwandan Ministries of Finance and Agriculture and the Central Bank of Rwanda, is establishing Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR) as a leading long term provider of financial and technical assistance for pro-poor financial market development in Rwanda.
On AFR’s behalf, DFID seeks to recruit a high calibre professional to provide strategic direction to AFR in the capacity of Technical Director.
The Technical Director will be responsible for developing AFR’s strategy, for identifying projects, and for managing resources to deliver AFR’s objective of increasing access to high quality financial services for the poor.
The successful applicant will be a leader with excellent networking skills and a proven ability to develop strong collaborative partnerships. S/he is also expected to be a first class technical expert in financial sector development, with a particular focus on micro and agricultural finance.
