Deputy Director (Research, Monitoring and Evaluation)

The Deputy Director Research, Monitoring and Evaluation will be responsible to Senior Deputy Director, Curriculum and Research services.
Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:
  • Designing systems, procedures and practices necessary for effective curriculum research, monitoring and evaluation;
  • Establishing and maintaining a databank on all statistics pertaining to educational research;
  • Facilitating the publishing and dissemination of research findings and;
  • Collaboration with other research Institution in matters related to research.
Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
  • A Master’s degree in Education/mathematics/ economics/statistics or related field from a recognized Institution, with a working experience of at least eight (8) years in research;
  • Demonstrated competence in undertaking research;
  • Mobilization skills, team player and high intuition and;
  • Proficiency in computer use and application
Senior Curriculum Development Officer, Basic Education - Christian Religious Education (CRE)

The Senior Curriculum Development Officer will be responsible to the Assistant Director, Religious Education.
Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:
  • Coordinating the development of relevant and quality CRE curriculum and curriculum support materials;
  • Initiating and participating in curriculum orientation activities;
  • Coordinating the activities of Subject and Course Panels and;
  • Participating in development and evaluation of curriculum support materials
Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
  • A Bachelors degree in Education OR its equivalent;
  • Served in curriculum development or related area for at least six (6) years;
  • Demonstrated professional competence in curriculum development or related areas;
  • Initiative to be a team player who is highly motivated and;
  • Proficiency in computer use and application.
Chief Curriculum Development Officer, Electronic & Emerging Media - English

The chief curriculum development officer will be responsible to the Senior Assistant Director E-Learning
Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:
  • Coordinating development of relevant and quality media and electronic curriculum support materials;
  • Initiating research, monitoring and evaluation of media and electronic curriculum support materials and;
  • Conducting evaluation of both print and e-learning curriculum support materials.
Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
  • A Masters degree in Education or relevant field from a recognized Institution and have served for a minimum period of at least three (3) years at a supervisory level. Applicants with a Bachelors degree in Education or its equivalent and at least five (5) years working experience in curriculum development will be considered;
  • Demonstrated professional competence in curriculum development or related areas;
  • Demonstrated competence in computer applications and their integration in teaching and learning and:
  • Initiative to be a team player who is highly motivated.
N/B: Applicants who have interacted with media/electronic materials development will have an added advantage.
Procurement Officer I

The Procurement Officer I will be responsible to the Senior Procurement Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:
  • Implementing and enforcing regulations and policies on procurement;
  • Preparing procurement estimates of expenditure, Verification and disposal of stores;
  • Co-coordinating the receipt of materials from suppliers;
  • Undertaking stock taking;
  • Preparing daily stock reconciliations and;
  • Supervision of the stores.
Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in either Economics, Business Administration, Commerce and a Diploma in Supplies management or its equivalent;
  • Served as Procurement Officer II or in a comparable and relevant position for at least three (3) years;
  • Demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, administration and management;
  • Demonstrated merit and results as reflected in work performance and results;
  • Initiative to be a team player who is highly motivated and;
  • Proficiency in computer use and application.
