Action Contre la Faim (ACF) has been conducting humanitarian programs in Somalia from May 1992. At present, ACF is conducting its humanitarian activities in Somalia focused on Severe and moderate malnutrition, Medical programs and Water & Sanitation programs via program bases in Mogadishu (since 1995) and Wajid (since 2003).
ACF Somalia is currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions based in its coordination Office in Nairobi
Translator- Radio Operator
The Translator- Radio Operator provides services of translating official documents, policies, communication from Somali to English accurately and vice versa and also provide radio or telephone communication to the bases.
Essential requirements:
Qualified Translator with at least 1 year experience in translation of documents from Somali to English and vice versa. Experience in the humanitarian field will be an added advantage, Proficient in Word, Excel, internet; Fluency in English & Somali language is a must Deputy Medical & Nutrition CoordinatorACF Somalia is currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions based in its coordination Office in Nairobi

Essential requirements:
The Deputy Medical and Nutrition Coordinator provides technical support to the medical and nutrition program team. S/he will be strongly involved in evolution as well as implementation of program strategy and proposal writing (definition of objectives, results, activities, indicators).
In addition s/he will be responsible for follow up and routine operational support to
the Nutrition & health Field officers based in the respective program sites, ensure that the medical and health protocols are adhered to, consolidation and compilation of monthly reports, donor reports and providing at regular intervals feedback to the coordination team on the Program Implementation.
S/he will also liaise with other departments to ensure that the program is supported efficiently.
Essential requirements:
Qualified nurse or nutritionist.3 years’ experience of nutrition and health programs management in the humanitarian field, Good analytical capacity; representation skills, Training skills, Proficient in Word, Excel, internet (preferable: Epi Info, SMART software), Fluent in English & Somali language (preferable).
