We are a Transport Company with a fleet of over 60 Trucks and wish to recruit suitable candidates for the following vacancies:
Fleet Maintenance Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance of all Company vehicles
- Implement and monitor a scheduled preventive maintenance program to bring about cost effective maintenance which is as per required specifications
- Professionally manage the workshop team of over 25 employees and enforce company safety practices and procedures.
- Coordinate all related activities including breakdowns so as to ensure least downtime of vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records on preventive maintenance, repairs done and parts requirements and usage.
- Develop an excellent working relationship with relevant Motor vehicle dealers.
- Should be available out of office hours if need be
Qualifications
- Diploma in mechanical Engineering or Degree in related field
- 2-5 years experience in the Transportation Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organization, decision making and problem solving abilities.
- Energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work within a team.
- Computer Skills (MS Office).
- Exposure to Vehicle Diagnostic (or/and) Fleet Manager system will be an added advantage

Assistant HSSE Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor movement of Trucks using the Fleet tracking system in place to ensure compliance to
- Download and analyze OBC (Motor Vehicles On Board Computers) data and discuss the same with Drivers including review of journey plans to curb violations.
- Promote and develop positive safety culture to help control occupational and environmental risks.
- Work in partnership with managers and supervisors to develop, implement, maintain and enhance sound HSSE systems and practices.
- Produce monthly HSE statistics reports
- Should be available out of office hours if need be.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Environmental sciences or related field
- 2-5 years experience in the Transportation Industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Incident reporting, investigation and follow up skills
- Computer Skills (MS Office).
- Exposure to Permit to work certification
- Exposure to a Fleet Manager system will be an added advantage
