Group Human Resource Manager - Riara Group of Schools Jobs in Kenya

Our client, Riara Group of Schools, is seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to be based in their Head Office in Nairobi. As HR Manager, you will provide leadership, direction and advice on employees, organization and change management.

You will manage and direct a diverse team, whilst delivering appropriate and innovative solutions and support.
Essential experience:
  • Broad HR management experience and



    the ability to manage a diverse population over a large geographical area.
  • Ability to align HR policies, system, structures and work processes to the organizations strategic business goals
  • Experience in managing the full spectrum of human resources function, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employed industrial relations, performance management, human resources administration and training & development.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to integrate HR policy with our ongoing vision.
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective performance management systems and ensuring successful appraisal and reward for staff.
  • The ability to manage industrial and employee relations while providing coaching, counseling and development services to the team.
  • The ability to advise on the implications and management of change, whilst identifying and delivering change programmes necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to develop and manage cross functional budgets for the HR and operations relating to the group staff while effectively managing the payroll and all statutory and voluntary deductions.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
  • University graduate preferably in Social Sciences. Masters will be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years experience in HR 2 of which must be in a managerial position.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in HRM
  • Excellent negotiation, communication interpersonal and interviewing skills
  • Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of Kenya Labor Laws
  • Strong proficiency in use of IT
