Exciting Career in Regional Clinical Research Company

A leading clinical research company with a focus on the management of phase I-IV clinical trials in the region is seeking to fill two positions in its Nairobi office.

Senior Clinical Research Associate (SCRA)

The SCRA will be expected to oversee project activities associated with the monitoring functions of Phase I-IV clinical research studies while continuing to develop his/her knowledge of the drug development process, good clinical practices and relevant regulations.

This position will have interim office administrative responsibilities and requires a multi-talented person with administrative skills as well as the ability to manage investigator site activities to ensure the integrity of clinical data, in adherence to all applicable regulatory guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The incumbent must have a life sciences degree or a nursing qualification and a minimum of three years of relevant clinical research experience on pharmaceutical or


donor-funded trials. The minimum three years experience will include initiation, interim monitoring and close-out visits.

The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. They must have the ability to operate independently in an empowered team environment and be willing to travel within and outside the country.

Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

The CRA will work closely with the SCRA and is expected to assist with project activities associated with the monitoring functions of Phase I-IV clinical research studies. We are looking for somebody with a minimum of one year monitoring experience in pharmaceutical or donor-funded trials.

A degree in life sciences supported with relevant experience - especially in conducting initiation and interim monitoring visits will be considered favorably.

The successful candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to operate independently in an empowered team environment and be willing to travel within and outside the country.
