Credit Bank is an established commercial bank and is rapidly growing its branch network.

To support our growth strategy, we are looking for dynamic, proactive professionals with strong credential and relevant work experience to fill the following positions:




1. Treasury Manager

Reporting to Managing Director, the role-holder will be required to facilitate the growth of the bank’s treasury and dealership business within the stipulated banking regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective purchase/sale and settlement of the money market and forex deals in order to achieve business targets.
  • Provide insight on the prevailing market trends and direction and advice the customers accordingly.
  • Provide daily currency rate for effective buying and selling of foreign currency to customers.
  • Manage and review daily foreign currency exposure and submit CBK reports within the set timelines.
  • Monitor and facilitate effective trade in government securities, security of documents, payments and maturities for documentary credits and collections.
  • Observe and ensure that all audit /risk compliance regulations are observed.
Qualifications and competencies
  • First Degree in business related background
  • Member of banking related professional body
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar position
  • Excellent Computer skills
2. Branch Managers

The incumbents will be responsible for achievement of business targets and effective management of branch operations within regulatory framework and the Bank’s policies and risk guidelines.
  • Lead in development, implementation and delivery of the branch business strategy.
  • Optimise resource allocation and identify opportunities for growth through maximizing distribution capability and delivery of customer centric services.
  • Drive new sales revenue and total revenue through acquisition, deepening and retention of customers across all segments.
  • Continually provide customer feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement as well as competitive advantage.
  • Ensure and oversee that information in the banking core system is accurate and up to date.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to staff in relation to performance management, training and development.
Qualifications and competence
  • Be a holder of Bachelors degree in Business related field.
  • Professional banking qualifications such as AKIB will be added advantage
  • At least 4 years experience in banking management preferably Branch management.
  • Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
3. Branch Officers

The incumbent will be responsible for running effective branch operations leading to provision of excellent customer service, profitability and business growth by:
  • Oversee and implement the Banks strategy at the branch level.
  • Oversee customer service delivery, maintenance and improvement of retail banking service standards.
  • Bank Operations – Clearings, Payments, Cash management and reconciliation.
  • Facilitate effective relationship management for external and internal customers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements with regards to banking environment.
  • Ensure and oversee that the information in the banking core system is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications and competence
  • Be a holder of Bachelors degree in Business related field.
  • Professional banking qualifications such as AKIB will be added advantage
  • At least 2 years experience in banking management
  • A team player with ability to work with minimum supervision.
4. HR Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for manpower planning, recruitment, promotion, retrenchment processes and effective implementation of Bank’s policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design KPA/KRAs of each staff member.
  • Coordinate and manage the performance management.
  • Review and formulate Human Resource policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee the Administrative HR functions that include managing of HRIS, Medical policy etc.
  • Coordinate and undertake Staffing needs analysis and manpower planning for effective implementation of the recruitment and selection policy.
  • Support the business in achieving its key strategic objectives.
  • Provide and support employee relations within the bank.
  • Facilitate and conduct corporate training and development.
Qualifications and competencies
  • First Degree with a higher diploma in Human Resources Management/Development.
  • Excellent Computer and presentation skills
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Deep industry knowledge in Labour laws and current HR business trends
  • Ability to proactively network with colleagues in the industry
