Communications Strategist Job Vacancy at The Aga Khan University (AKU) in East Africa

The Aga Khan University (AKU) in East Africa, invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following position:

Communications Strategist

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Communications, the incumbent will assist with the implementation of the University’s strategic communication plan.

In consultation, with the heads of the University’s programmes in East Africa, s/he will develop and implement communication plans that meet the

needs of the entities of AKU in East Africa.

S/he will create and manage the production of related communication materials.

Applicants must possess a Masters Degree from a reputable institution, preferably in mass communications, journalism, marketing or related field.

S/he should have at least five (5) years of experience in corporate communications, media or not-for-profit/ development communications. Experience with a management consulting
firm or an advertising agency is preferred.
