The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) Regional Office, is seeking a qualified candidate for the following position:
Regional IT Officer
Nairobi based, with regular travel in the DRC Horn of Africa region
The Regional IT Officer is responsible for the configuration, implementation and maintenance of various technologies.
This includes servers, network equipment, and software applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan, design and implementation of various systems.
- Provide on site and remote technical support to all DRC offices in Horn of Africa & Yemen region.
- Capacity building of staff in usage of IT technology
- Review IT needs in the region and make recommendations on new technologies.
- Safeguard DRC data by use of security policies, anti-virus and efficient back-up recovery procedures.
- Ensure regular maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
Requirements: Must possess Degree in Computer Science and MCSE or CCNA qualification.
