The County Council of Rachuonyo is seeking applications from interested persons with the following minimum qualifications to fill this position in the financial year 2009/2010 financial estimate.
Education
• Should have: Diploma in Computer Technology, Diploma in Information Technology or Diploma in Computer Studies (KNEC)
Experience
• Basic Computer Programming
• Experience in providing assistance to users on Computer hardwares, softwares, installation, word processing, electronic mail operating systems
• Broad knowledge of P.C hardware, software and peripheral to networking
• Ability to provide basic P.C hardware/software training to users
• Able to diagnose Computer Operation system and solve it.
• Able to install programmes and set up procedures
• Able to perform basic network configuration procedures for the council
• Oversees the daily performance of Computer systems and should have knowledge on Windows 2003 server and active directory, Hardware(P.C sever) environment
• Microsoft office product and MCSE Certification.
• Must have worked either on permanent or temporary in a public or private institution for at least 6 months.
