Re: AAACO/08 Accounts Officer (Age 25-35 Years)
Qualifications and Skills
· Must have completed CPA Part 2, pursuing Part 3.
· A degree in business related studies from a recognized university would be an added advantage
· 3 years working experience in a busy and computerized accounting environment
· A high level of I.T. proficiency particularly QuickBooks & MS Office
· Knowledge of insurance industry/agency accounting is an added advantage
Tasks & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you shall be responsible for the following:
· Updating the General Ledger;
· Approval of all Credit Sales;
· Handling of Accounts Receivables;
· Maintaining office Petty Cash;
· Preparation of cheques payment vouchers;
· Reconciling the VAT Account and other statutory payments;
· Preparation of weekly sales reports highlighting changes in forecasts and future trends;
· Preparation of weekly treasury report.
All Candidates Must Be/Have
· Fluent in English and Kiswahili
· Excellent communication and public relation skills.
· Self motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks
· Leadership skills, organisational and problem solving skills.
· Basic Office Organisational skills (report, letter and minutes writing)
· Computer Literate – Microsoft Office
· Neat and Presentable.
· Team player.
· Punctual.
· Disciplined.
· Integrity and Honesty a must
· Fast learner.
· Ability to work long hours
· Ability and willingness to work in any part of the country
· Ambitious.
· Demonstratable Leadership Skills
· Ability to communicate with individuals of all nationalities
Individuals with Training as a Radio Call Operators from recognized institutions e.g. National Youth Service are also encouraged to apply.
