E-commerce Executive Job in Kenya

As an E-commerce Executive, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth through online channels. You’ll play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, attract new customers, and retain existing ones. This position requires a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing and ecommerce campaigns and projects, including social media, email marketing, website maintenance, marketplaces and promotions.
  • Timely response to all online enquiries and reviews by articulating client needs and providing solutions.
  • Conduct research on competitors and industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Assist with customer research such as building surveys.
  • Assist with the management and optimization of the company’s ecommerce platform, including product listings, pricing and promotions.
  • Manage customer reviews including the collection and approval process, and on-site maintenance and customer communications.
  • Assist with the creation and editing of content for marketing materials, website, and social media platforms.
  • Support the coordination of creative content from our freelancer network, including photography and videography.
  • Manage and maintain the Digital Asset Management System.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales,
  • operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Key Requirements


  • Diploma in business related course, degree in Commerce with IT, Marketing or equivalent from a recognized learning institution will be an added advantage.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the ecommerce industry. Desirable but not essential to have knowledge of ecommerce platform.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tactics, including email marketing, social media, and paid advertising.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Must have marketing skills (advertising and public relations)
  • Content strategy knowledge.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
