Chief Finance Officer Job in Kenya

Role Summary:

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will have the primary responsibility for overseeing the portfolio’s quality, collections of arrears, and timely disbursements.

Qualifications:

 The incumbent Must be a Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.

 A Master’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Option will be an added advantage.

 Professional qualifications from either CPA-K or ACCA.

 Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a finance role, 5 of which MUST be at Management level and leadership responsibilities.

 A Certified Member of ICPAK

 Experience in Microfinance is a MUST

 5 Years of proven experience in Collections

Computer literacy and proficiency.

 Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a marketing role, preferably with leadership responsibilities.

 Computer literacy and proficiency.

 Familiarity with microfinance principles, methodologies, and regulatory frameworks specific to the industry Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks

 Strategic Financial Planning

 Financial Knowledge Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles is essential.

 Analytical Skills Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. · Problem-solving skills.

 Strong interpersonal, management, and demonstrable leadership skills.
