Travel Agent Job in Kenya

The Reservation Agent is the first point of contact for many potential guests, playing a vital role in creating a positive first impression and driving sales. You will be responsible for assisting customers with booking reservations, answering their questions about our offerings, and providing excellent customer service.


  • Respond to inquiries from customers via phone, email, or in person (depending on the company)
  • Secure reservations for rooms, tables, appointments, or other services based on customer needs and preferences
  • Access and utilize reservation systems to check availability, pricing, and promotions
  • Process payments and send confirmation details to customers
  • Modify or cancel reservations as requested by the customer
  • Upsell or recommend additional services or upgrades that may enhance the customer’s experience
  • Answer questions about amenities, rates, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and accurate database of customer information
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with reservations
  • Contribute to a positive and professional work environment

  • Proficient in computer skills, including reservation systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Working knowledge of the hospitality industry (preferred, but not always required)
