About the role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a robust background in software engineering. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing cross-functional teams, developing comprehensive project plans, allocating resources efficiently, overseeing budgets, and excelling in risk management. He/she must have the skills to effectively manage multiple projects along with their dependencies. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to compile and analyze projects using Jira.

Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Team Management

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams comprising software engineers and professionals from various disciplines.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication and synergy among team members.

Project Planning and Execution


  • Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Ensure project milestones are met and objectives achieved within specified timeframes. 

Resource Allocation

  • Efficiently allocate resources based on project requirements and team capabilities and continuously monitor resource utilisation to optimize team efficiency.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization to meet budgetary goals.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess project risks, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Regularly monitor and update risk assessments, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Jira Dashboard Compilation

  • Utilize Jira to create and maintain dynamic project dashboards, providing real-time visibility into project status, progress, and key metrics.
  • Customize Jira dashboards to meet project and stakeholder requirements, incorporating analytical insights.

Project Assessment

  • Apply strong analytical skills to assess project performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to support strategic decision-making and optimize project outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Must have 3-4 Years of proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, specifically in software engineering projects.
  • Strong background in project planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Expertise in risk management, Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Proficiency in Jira for project management and dashboard compilation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
  • Previous experience in compiling and presenting technical projects to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
