About the job
The successful candidate will be reporting to the
Director – Zetech Digital School and will be responsible for the following:
Creating and curating digital learning materials,
such as e-learning modules, online courses, and interactive simulations.
Providing technical assistance to learners and
Lecturers, ensuring smooth operation of digital learning platforms.
Administering and maintaining learning management
systems (LMS) and other digital learning tools.
Training faculty and staff on the use of digital
learning technologies and providing ongoing support.
Analysing data from digital learning platforms to
improve and tailor learning experiences.
Staying updated with the latest trends and
technologies in digital learning and integrating them into the University’s
offerings.
Working with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and IT staff to create comprehensive digital learning experiences.
Ensuring that digital learning programs comply with
educational standards and quality assurance guidelines.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to
time by the supervisors or as captured in the detailed job description.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/ Information
Technology, Educational Technology, Instructional Design degree or in a
relevant field from a recognised/accredited University.
At least two years of training design experience
creating blended learning solutions for both instructor-led and self-paced
training.
Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, and other web development tools.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS):
Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, etc.
Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as
Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
At least two years of experience in instructional
design is preferred
Experience using InDesign, Video Scribe
Evidence of being a member of a relevant professional
body.
