Job Summary
Data
analytics and data management assist our organization in understanding where we
are successful, where we can improve, and what new opportunities may exist for
us. We are searching for an experienced business analyst to work with the Chief
Operating Officer to constantly work with our data and data systems from a
business intelligence perspective. The ideal candidate will be well versed and
experienced in the processes of data preparation, cleaning, analysis,
interpretation and professional-style reporting. Candidates with start-up
experience, proven track records with business analytics, high quality written
communication, data visualization experience and a deep interest in asking and
answering business questions are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide
monthly and weekly reports on relevant data to a diverse internal audience—from
our nursing and doctor teams all the way up to executives;
Develop
new analysis and reports that drive clarity on business related decisions;
Prepare
data driven presentations for quarterly or other major milestone events;
Conduct
basic inferential and descriptive statistic explorations into datasets;
Run
geospatial mapping with internal and external data;
Use data
to highlight business problems and inefficiencies.
Skills
and qualifications
Bachelor’s
degree
Five or
more years of experience in analytics
Five or
more years of experience with both descriptive and inferential statistics
Ability
to translate data results into business-oriented reporting with interpretation
focused on actionable insights
Data
cleaning
Experience
in working with SQL databases or other databases
Fluency
of relevant Microsoft, Google, and any common statistical packages
Extensive
experience with data visualization
High
proficiency in professional writing for a business context
