Procept is recruiting to fill the position of Systems Support Engineer, who has Linux, OBM/cloudwatch, Oracle, SQL/MySQL, AWS, Terraform, Virtualization and Haproxy skills. The idea candidate must have knowledge of ITIL/Agile, Fintech Awareness, and at least 2-5 years Application support experience.

Systems Support Engineer will provide essential support to our partners’
business operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of IT services and
systems.
Job
Description
- Provide
technical support for critical systems and applications, including
troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Utilize
expertise in Linux, OBM/Cloudwatch, Oracle, SQL/MySQL, AWS, Terraform,
Virtualization, and Haproxy to address system-related problems.
- Monitor
system performance using OBM/Cloudwatch and other monitoring tools,
identifying potential issues and implementing proactive solutions.
- Optimize
system configurations and resources to ensure efficient operation and
maximum uptime.
- Support
Oracle and SQL/MySQL databases, including installation, configuration, and
maintenance tasks.
- Execute
database queries and perform data analysis as required.
- Manage
AWS cloud infrastructure components using Terraform and other automation
tools, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Implement
best practices for cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and
optimization.
- Configure
and maintain virtualization platforms to support application deployment
and scalability.
- Manage
network services and protocols, including Haproxy load balancers, to
ensure seamless communication between systems.
- Log,
track, and prioritize support tickets and incidents, following established
ITIL processes.
- Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues and minimize
service disruptions.
- Maintain
accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and
troubleshooting steps.
- Generate
reports on system performance, incident trends, and support metrics as
required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum
of 2-5 years of experience in application support, with expertise in
Linux, OBM/Cloudwatch, Oracle, SQL/MySQL, AWS, Terraform, Virtualization,
and Haproxy.
- Strong
understanding of ITIL/Agile methodologies and their application in support
processes.
- Knowledge
in Fintech and understanding of financial technologies and applications.
- Analytical
and problem-solving skills.

communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability
to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks
effectively.
