Role Purpose:
The
overall purpose of this role is to contribute towards the growth of the
business by creating and maintaining great business relationships with
potential and existing clients in order to grow the business through client
acquisition. Key focus is international moving business.
Key duties and responsibilities.
- Promptly respond to all potential and
existing client enquiries from all company sites including emails, live
chat, phones and social media outlets
- Carefully listen to client requirements
and advise them accordingly regarding the Company’s service offering
custom made to suit their need
- Advise clients accordingly of the
Company’s billing policies and ensure that they are billed properly
- Positively engage & connect with
clients whether online, via email, on phone or in person with a view to
offering them true solutions that will be of value to them
- Handle online/virtual client surveys and
send quotations to the clients in a timely manner
- Prepare and conduct presentations to
potential clients with the view of providing them with Company services
- Liaise and forge a strong relationship
with relevant partners within the international moving value chain
- Attend and conduct physical consultations
at client premises in line with the Nellions guidelines which broadly
demand that strict time keeping, being well groomed, adequate preparation,
among other things
- Follow up on all the clients to whom
quotations have been sent.
- Handle and get RFQs done and delivered on
time
- Attend to walk in clients and serve them
promptly with highest levels of professionalism
- Update all client’s engagements and tasks
on Mobility platform
- Track progress on the Mobility and Survey
Canvas while suggesting improvements and changes for both systems
- Solve all issues with the operations
department that may arise during moves as professionally and as timely as
possible
- Perform debt collection duties and ensure
that all invoices are paid within the agreed timelines
- Raise the booking orders keenly and on
time while ensuring adherence to the Company productivity guidelines.
- Conduct research on best international
practices pertaining to customer service and especially on the moving
industry and make suggestions for improvement.
- Attend moves regularly in order to stay
in touch with what is happening on the ground and specifically if the
Nellions Movers are delivering on the company promise of “Fine Moving”
- As a custodian of the pre-move assessment
SOP, propose amendments and changes to the SOP for consideration from time
to time.
- Do demand creation activities physically
(e.g. attending exhibitions, visiting buildings, new sites, personal
contacts and digitally (social media) as well as prospecting for new
business
- Attend sales meetings and any other
meetings called by management
- Maintain and uphold the good image of the
company through politeness, focus on client needs, time consciousness and
genuine need to help achieve smooth moving experiences.
- Prepare reports and provide updates for
all jobs and duties assigned
- Learn about and keep abreast of the best
(current and emerging) global practices in the moving & relocations
industry.
- Attend training programs arranged by the
company and do self-initiated learning.
- Perform any other duties as may be
assigned to persons placed in authority over you
Qualifications .
- A degree in a business related field from
a recognized university – not mandatory but could be an added advantage
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a
robust sales & marketing role
- Confident, able to easily relate with
foreigners and the middle class people
- Able to prepare and make sales pitches
- Great interpersonal and communication
skills
- Attentive to details
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation
skills
- Friendly & warm
- Ambitious and eager to learn.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to speak a foreign language could
be an added advantage
