Photographer will be responsible to Senior Corporate Communications & Marketing Officer.

Job Description

  • Identifying and taking creative pictures that define the content of KYEB publications;
  • Sourcing for pictures for use in KYEB’s publications
  • Handling photographic equipment
  • Captioning and archiving pictures in a way that makes it easy for fast retrieval
  • Handling and maintaining photographic equipment.
  • Editing and displaying images in order to tell a visual story

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

  • A Diploma Certificate in photography or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Proficiency in Computer Applications.
  • Comply with the requirements of Chapter six.

Key Competencies and skills


  • Communication, problem solving, supervisory, leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of image quality and reproduction
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and shoot creative pictures
  • Ability to work for long/odd hours

  • Valid certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations.
    • Self-declaration form duly executed by the Ethics & Anti – Corruption Commission.
    • A tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
    • Clearance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
    • Clearance certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
