Reporting to the Service Manager, Nairobi Office
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and
troubleshooting issues with generators, including mechanical failures,
electrical problems, and control system malfunctions.
- Providing
detailed report for proper repair
- Conducting
repairs and replacements of faulty components to restore generator
functionality
- Performing
routine maintenance tasks
- Providing
emergency response services to address generator failures
- Providing
remote service support to teams out in the field
- Giving
simple guidance to clients on proper use, care and safety of products
- Carrying
out service visits as and when required
- Providing
Technical sales support
Experience
- Excellent
troubleshooting skills for quick diagnosis of equipment issues
- Experience
in diagnosis and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems of an
engine.
- Working
knowledge of DSE Control modules
- Experience
on Genset installation including synchronized sets
- Excellent
customer service
- Experience
with different types of engines.
Qualifications:
- Diploma
in Mechanical or related Engineering Course
- Basic
computer skills including MS Word and Excel
- A
driving license is a requirement
- At
least 3 years’ experience of Engine Diagnosis, Repair and Overhaul
