Role Description
We
are looking for a Fleet Intern who shall assist in the day to day tasks around
managing the cars we have on our lot. This is an entry-level position, and
training will be provided. The internship program is designed to provide the
candidate with hands-on experience in car fleet management. If you are an

Duties and Responsibilities
The
successful candidate will be responsible for
- Ensuring that all cars on our lot are
well maintained and ready for client viewing. This may include: cleaning
the vehicles, performing daily checks and informing the car care team of
minor repairs on the vehicles.
- Result: Cars are well maintained, no
customer complaints, strong comms between teams
- Coordinating with relevant teams within
Peach as well as external service providers to ensure that cars are fueled
and washed or detailed as per Peach standards
- Result: Cars are in good condition when
they need to leave the lot (i.e. gas is in the tanks, cars are in good
condition) + no damages to the vehicles that are on our lot
- Coordinating with the team to ensure that
vehicles that are taken out of the lot are returned in the same condition
- Result: Check-in and check-out is done
thoroughly so we can ensure that vehicles are managed well
- Ensuring that the usage of KD plates by
the car care and sales team is accounted for and accurate records are
maintained in a secure manner
- Result: No arrests or incidents with KD
plates as the communication between Fleet and Sales is clear.
- Keeping up to date record of vehicles on
the lot, fuels usage and other relevant trackers
- Result: Trackers are filled consistently
and accurately
- Collaborating with the internal team to
ensure the cars are in good condition and ready for handovers.
- Result: Communication is provocative
across teams to ensure that Fleet is aware of what handovers need to be
done and by when
Requirements:
- Business related diploma
- Strong organizational and time-management
skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within
a team environment.
- Interested candidates must have a valid
driving license and minimum of one years driving experience. (valid DL
required)
- Candidates with knowledge of or
experience working with vehicles will be given preference.
