Qualifications
Education Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in a
relevant field (BCom, Business Management, Economics)
- MBA is beneficial
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project
management in the carbon market (carbon capture, utilisation, and storage
& DAC technologies)
- Experience in project management in
Sub-Saharan Africa is highly advantageous
- Impressive track record of successfully
leading and delivering projects to success (on time and within budget)
- Embedded knowledge of the DAC industry
highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project
development
- Stakeholder engagement with both public
and private entities
- Develop and implement monitoring and
evaluation plans to track project progress
- Prepare comprehensive, engaging, and
insightful reports and presentations
- Contribute to our client’s knowledge base
and expertise in novel DAC technologies, including identifying and
mitigating potential risks
- Contribute to commercial negotiations
with DAC project partners during the project development phase and support
in developing additional DAC deals in Kenya and the region
