Description
- Maintains boiler systems, overseeing
maintenance, enforcing safety protocols, and adjusting controls.
Key Responsibilities
- To continually support and improve
engineering services that effectively address problems affecting both
guests and employees
- Be willing to train and instruct other
members of the staff by passing along knowledge and skills to assist them
in their development and the advancement of your own.
- Checking the efficiency of the heating
system and thermostats.
- Observation and recording of pressure
gauge and meter readings.
- Adjusting the fuel and fluid levels of
the boiler.
- Inspection of boilers, pipes and valves
for leaks and malfunctions.
- Periodic cleaning of the ducts and
elimination of limescale or other corrosive deposits.
- Repair of the boiler, water treatment
equipment or storage tanks.
- Install replacement parts of the boiler
in case of failure, including pipes and heating elements.
- Detect emissions generated by combustion.
- Keeping of routine boiler maintenance
records.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities
in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company
policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the
Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the
Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety.
- To understand and strictly adhere to the
Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.
- To report for duty punctually wearing the
correct uniform and name tag at all times.
- Additional responsibilities and tasks can
be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the
hotel.
Desired Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
- At least two years of experience in a
similar role.
- Relevant certification by a recognized
organisation
- Very good knowledge of building
equipment: heating, operation
- Ability to work and communicate in a
multinational environment
- Computer literacy adapted to the field of
training
