Our
client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high quality packaging
materials in East Africa. They are looking to hire a Sales Administrator who
will contribute to high quality customer service and support the sales team
achieve set targets.
Responsibilities
Manage
the sales desk in terms of order receipt, invoicing and dispatch.
Act as a
primary contact for customers and answer customer inquiries.
Assist in
the development of sales strategies and plans to optimize customer sales.
Prepare
and maintain customer sales records and reports.
Manage
customer relationships and provide customer service to existing and potential
customers.
Assist in
the preparation and implementation of sales presentations and demonstrations..
Develop
and maintain strong relationships with vendors and other third parties to
ensure sales objectives are met.
Maintain
current product knowledge on features and benefits of all products in the
company.
Create
the best buying experience to make lifelong customer retention.
Follow up
with existing and potential customers to generate leads and referrals.
Cold
calling on customers, able to follow up on leads
Prepare
delivery paper work as per procedures.
Reporting:
Daily| Weekly| Monthly on orders progress.
Custodian
of customer files including compliance to data privacy and safeguard against
unauthorized use and/or distribution.
Key
Qualifications.
Business
Degree/diploma in Sales and Marketing or in a related field
Minimum
of 2 years’ experience preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG
Experience
in digital marketing and/or email marketing will be an added advantage
Bookkeeping
and accounting skills will be an added advantage
Excellent
Sales Skills and techniques
Excellent
communication and customer service skills
Strong
time management skills and self-motivation skills
Hands on
experience in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint Presentations
Highly
organized with proven ability to prioritize and keep tab of all aspects of the
job.
Knowledge
of data analysis and report writing
Ability
to understand and follow company policies and guidelines
Strong
analytical and creative thinking skills
Problem
solving skills
