Description:
Under the supervision of the Office Administrator, the
Rider role will be responsible for handling the delivery and collection
services.
Your primary duties will include:
Distributing internal correspondence,
documents, and packages to designated recipients.
Collecting and delivering mail from
external sources, such as postal services and courier companies.
Assisting with the organization and
maintenance of office supplies and equipment.
Supporting various departments with
administrative tasks as needed.
Ensuring the confidentiality and
security of sensitive documents and packages.
Responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of documents
Keep up-to-date records of trip
schedules, daily mileage, motorcycle service reports, fuel records, and other
reports present to management.
Collection of the daily newspapers.
Delivering all official mail and
invoices to clients.
Report any accidents and incidents to
the office administrator and nearest traffic officer.
Ensure that packages are ready for
delivery by packing them in a safe manner
Maintain communication with
destination, point of departure through and office administrator by cell phone
Sort deliverable items in accordance
with the delivery route to ensure maximum efficiency
Confirm deliveries by checking into
the office after each delivery
Always maintain a high level of
confidentiality and professionalism with clients
Qualifications and Skills:
KCSE Certificate
Valid motorcycle license and current
certificate of good conduct.
Proficiency in written and Spoken
English.
Familiarity with basic computer skills
Should be trustworthy and have good
time management skills.
Proven experience in a similar role is
required.
Strong communication and interpersonal
skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work
efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in
handling documents and packages.
