As part
of our strategic growth plan, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief
Financial Officer to lead our team and drive our business to new heights in
Kenya.
Your
role at BDSwiss:
- Developing
and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support
the company’s growth objectives
- Overseeing
the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term
financial plans in collaboration with senior management and department
heads
- Monitoring
financial performance against budget and forecast, analyse variances, and
implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Managing
cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and
investment opportunities
- Ensuring
timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory
requirements and accounting standards
- Providing
financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic
decision-making and business planning
- Leading
the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts
payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury management
- Establishing
and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate
risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Building
and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including
auditors, regulators and financial institutions
- Staying
abreast of changes in regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and
industry trends to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance
The
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related
field;
- Any
professional certification will be considered an advantage
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Minimum
of 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at
least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong
understanding of financial management principles, practices, and
regulations, preferably in the forex or financial services industry
- Proven
track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and driving
business results
- Excellent
analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong
leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams
- High
level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
