CAAD is a powerful coalition of 50 leading organizations united in combatting climate disinformation. Recognising the existential threat of disinformation and greenwashing, we work on a multi-pronged approach to disrupt the disinformation economy, dismantle networks, and empower vulnerable audiences. Our work spans four strategic pillars:

Driving regulations that address intentional climate disinformation and disrupt its economic model.
Advocating for a more pluralistic information ecosystem, holding Big Tech accountable.
Building the evidence base of harm and strategically communicating the reality of climate change.
Empowering organisations and grassroots movements and amplifying voices pushing back against disinformation.


We seek a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for supporting impactful change. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our coalition running smoothly and amplifying our online presence. You’ll manage the day-to-day operations, ensure financial efficiency, and contribute communications efforts to building a strong digital voice for CAAD and its member organisations. This is an opportunity to directly contribute to the fight against climate disinformation and build a healthier information ecosystem.

How you’ll contribute

  • Act as the primary contact person for CAAD members for day-to-day administrative and operational matters and daily office operations.
  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.
  • Coordinate with member organisations to facilitate their participation in CAAD initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of activities and processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the CAAD leadership team and program staff.
  • Process invoices and payments in accordance with established financial procedures.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets for CAAD activities and projects.
  • Manage grant funds and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Work with the finance team of the CAAD host organisation to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Support procurement processes including reviewing and analyzing offers and contracts, communications with external suppliers and maintaining updated records.
  • Handle event management for virtual and/or international in-person meetings such as retreats, including logistics, internal and external communication, supplier management, etc.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes of digital team members.
  • Support other operations tasks related to team coordination (e.g., setting up calls).
  • Proactively contribute to team spirit e.g. through the organisation of team-building activities.
  • Manage online platforms, ensuring engaging content and consistent visibility for CAAD and member activities.

Our ideal candidate has

  • Experienced in administrative and financial management and project coordination.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and IT skills – an experienced user of cloud-based collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Monday.com, Google Drive), and Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Experience with website content management systems and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of grant management and financial reporting is preferred.
  • Passion for the mission of CAAD and commitment to climate action.
  • A passion and talent for working with numbers.
  • A fast learner with a can-do attitude and a desire to find solutions to tricky problems, and who is comfortable working in a dynamic international environment.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise between multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly, both independently and in a team, and the disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust community of peers.
  • A passion for being an active member of a team and contributing to team spirit.
  • Experience providing operational support to complex international teams working across multiple internal systems, national contexts and currencies.
  • The versatile and adaptable skills necessary to flourish in a fast-paced and wide-ranging work environment and work across phone/video conferencing, time zones, Slack, etc.
