Fortress Limited is a
credit only microfinance institution (COMFI) in Kenya. Fortress offers customer
centric financial and non-financial solutions to economically active members of
the society with the aim of enabling them to achieve their dreams. We are
looking to hire loan officers who will;
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain
sustainable growth in accounts of an active clientele base through
communication and sales of products and services to enable the branch to
perform to its expectations.
Offer
excellent customer service through daily conversations, correspondence, and
site visits as needed to maintain strong positive relationships with borrowers.
Conduct
due diligence on prospective borrowers, including site visits and loan document
preparation.
Maintenance
and growth of a healthy credit portfolio through prudent loan administration,
management and compliance with policies, procedures and best practice.
Monitor
performance of loans and recommend remedial measures in consultation with the
Credit Manager.
Preparation
and presentation of comprehensive, timely & reliable reports to provide
information, aid in decision making and gauge performance of both the officer
and the branch.
Preparation
and maintenance of records and valuables by ensuring that all the documents are
filed and kept in a systematic manner for easier tracking & retrieval.
Qualifications, Skills
and Experience Required:
A
relevant diploma or University degree
Prior
experience in a lending environment.
Able
to meet set targets within the time frame.
Very
strong attention to details and good follow through.
Unrelenting
perseverance, personal integrity, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent
verbal and written communication.
