Kentegra Pyrethrum Company Limited in Nakuru is looking for a Field Regional Manager for its team.
The overall responsibility for
this role is providing leadership to their designated area through managing the
Farmer Relationship Team, Collection Centres and Farmers. Other key tasks are:-
• Managing the Farmer
Relationship Officers in terms of overall KPI achievement
• Identification of new areas for expansion of the business
• Developing and establishing a vibrant farmer recruitment and retention
methodology
• Ensuring proper farmer management by putting in place an efficient
management, contracting and outgrower system in keeping with company values
• Planning and supporting farmer sensitization through agronomy support and
training
• Guiding the farmers in the Zone so that their production is enhanced
• Planning, supporting and coordinating all key field activities which includes management of planting materials, fertilizers and farmer inputs
• Ensuring 100% transition from planting materials to flower production
• Planning, supporting and coordinating all flower purchase and quality efforts in the zone.
• Supporting all field research and development projects with partners
Qualifications and work
experience required for this role:-
•Degree in Agronomy (or similar
qualification) from an accredited institution
•Member of a relevant professional body.
•At least 3 years relevant experience
• Demonstrable high levels of integrity.
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrable management skills
• At least 2 years of farmer training experience
• Proactive
•Great attention to detail
•Able to drive a motor vehicle with a valid driving licence.
