Job Summary
To assist in projects, repairs
and support smooth operations of Head Office and medical centres.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring installation, repairs, maintenance and service of
electrical equipment and proper functioning of all electrically powered
equipment, appliances and installations.
- Interpretation and Implementation of electrical blue prints
as directed by line manager.
- Actively participate in implementation of energy management
best practises and goals.
- Maintaining and repairing all electrical distribution boards,
consumer units and control panels.
- Installing and maintaining electrical/electronic plant
equipment like diesel generators, UPS systems, and water solar heating
systems.
- Conducting electrical safety tests on electrical equipment.
- Observation of SOP’s, Health & Safety guidelines and
PPE’s during execution of duties.
- Supervise contractors as directed by immediate supervisor,
ensure contractors sign work permits and stipulated Health & Safety
guidelines.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring safe location of critical electrical equipment and
installations.
- Maintaining job cards for each job assigned.
Requirements –Education, Skills and Experience:
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a
recognized institution.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages
- Must demonstrate ability to execute work assigned with
minimum supervision
- Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams
- Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and multi-skill
- Must be a flexible person who is willing to learn and able to
work flexible hours and multiple locations to achieve goals
