Job Title: Video & Still Content Producer

Location: Nairobi Kenya.
Job Summary: The video and still content producer is responsible for
capturing clear, sharp and dynamic images according to the production specifications.
His/her duties include setting
up branding, lighting and equipment to prepare for a photo/video shoot,
directing clients/staff and subjects to capture the perfect image.
The content producer records
videos and still content using professional equipment, ensures pre, during and
post-production elements are met for high quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that equipment for a shoot is available and working
- Edit footage/ film in post-production.
- Direct other camera operators so that the needed footage is
acquired.
- Work with the collaborative team to create the film or video
product
- Set up and tear down cameras, audio recorders, lighting,
microphones, and props
- Calibrate, clean, disassemble and maintaining equipment
- Prepare background film or live feed.
- Troubleshoots problems with the equipment
- Interviewing people and creating a film clip via editing raw
footage. Must have crafted the art of story-telling.
- Insert closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text
into a video adding computer graphics and special effects to a video.
- Operate, configure, set up, and fix video, audio, lighting,
or other production equipment
- Work in a variety of digital venues with software/AI tools to
edit and finish film work
- Monitor and give reports on video content shared on
influencer’s or partners’ platforms
Photographer
- Communicating with clients/staff to set up a time and place
for a photoshoot.
- Take professional pictures on location.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues to produce
high-quality photographic images.
- Use different techniques to enhance the photographs as
required.
- Use photo manipulation software such as Adobe Suite and
incorporate AI knowledge for efficiency in getting desired results timely.
- Recommend creative ideas to exceed expectations of goals and
objectives.
- Use artistic knowledge to enhance and compose photographs.
- Ensure each photography session in an event/ occasion
captures the key highlight moments.
- Review sets of photographs and select the best results.
- Operate various photographic equipment such as single lens
reflex cameras and film or digital cameras and lighting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Videography & Photography.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Business functions.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) background is an added advantage

- Self-driven with the ability to work under minimal
supervision
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to capture snippets of film and be able to edit it
into a cohesive story
- Knowledge of all types of video equipment.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic situations
- Flexibility and good listening skills
- Enough patience to wait for the perfect shot/video moment
- Must know computerized tape editing software and equipment
