Kentegra Biotechnology Limited, a manufacturing company located in the EPZ Athi River with a presence in Nakuru that focuses on the processing of pyrethrum is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who will be based at our Processing Factory currently located at the EPZ Athi River.
The Key roles for this position are to:-
Ensure National and county regulatory requirements
for general operations and specific products manufactured are complied with
Implement the company strategy for new product
development is carried out;
Ensure compliance with total quality management
principles and procedures for all aspects of the company’s operations
Ensure the appropriate quality
standards/requirements for all the products being manufactured and sold are
adhered to
Ensure there are in place appropriate Health and
Safety Management Plans, Environment Management Plans, and Product Quality
Plans
Establish the Quality Management Systems in line
with regulatory, cGMP requirements, ISO standards and customer expectations.
Implement the Companies management system
certification targets: ISO 9001.
Communicate to management and other stakeholders
including customers, the regulations and guidelines that impact our business
and updating all SoP’s to ensure company operations met these requirements.
Manage the process of product release and where
necessary recall.
Manage customer audits and ensure that ensuing
action plans are implemented.
Respond appropriately to any customer complaints.
Ensure that production is carried out in compliance
with all relevant Statutory Safety Regulations, Company Standard Operating Procedures
and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Conduct vendor audits and vendor qualification.
Review batch processing records, product quality
certificates, batch disposition and product complaints while investigating any
deviations and recommending corrective action required.
Monitor raw material quality to ensure that it
complied with contracted specifications.
Lead relevant investigations into all incidences or
deviations involving quality assurance; Monitor and control actual expenditures
against budget.
Qualifications and work experience required for this role
First Degree in Analytical Chemistry from an
accredited institution.
At least 4 years relevant hands-on experience in a
leadership role in Quality Assurance
High level of accuracy
High level of integrity
Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
Experience in reporting and data presentation
Good in analysis
Ability to make decisions on issues
Proficiency in MS Office and database
