Our Client offers training to humanitarian professionals across the globe as well as supporting humanitarian and development work.

They seek to hire a Human Resource Coordinator to offer end to end Human Resource and Administration support to the organizations business units in line with relevant statutes and corporate policies while at the same time ensuring great employee experience.

You shall also be communicating with managers to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities and overall performance of the direct reports in order to create and sustain a performance culture that consistently exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders (customers, employees, shareholders). Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Advocate for employee retention and development
  • Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records and processing of payroll
  • Implement company culture, values and policies
  • Business development acumen to effectively help the team to tap into more opportunities in line with organizational objectives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or any other social sciences
  • CHRP- K Certification.
  • (5) Five years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Member of good standing in the relevant professional regulatory body (IHRM)
  • Experience working knowledge in multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
