Contract
Duties and
Responsibilities
An officer at this level
will be on-the-job training and will work under supervision of an experienced
officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:–
- simple
maintenance of fire- fighting appliances
- assisting
in rescue operations during emergency cases
- operating
appliances and communication equipment
Qualifications
For appointment to this
grade; a candidate must have:-
- Kenya
certificate of secondary education mean grade ‘D’ or its equivalent
relevant qualification;
- Fireman
II certificate from a recognized fire services training school
/institution.
- First
Aid Certificate lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John’s
ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways Building Technology (KIHBT) or
any other recognized institution;
- Be
physically fit; and Be certified medically fit by the Government doctor
