Our client, a mall in Nairobi, is seeking to hire a Plumber.
The
Plumber will be in charge of Installations, maintaining, and repairing pipes
and fixtures associated with water distribution, and sanitation systems at the
mall.
He/she
will inspect drainage and other plumbing systems for compliance with
regulations.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
· Interpretation
of blueprints for repair, expansion, and new tenant installation of drainage
systems.
· Ensure
no leaks, wastage or interruption of service to clients and tenants
· Collaborate
with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and pipefitters in
plumbing.
· Analyze
problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair
· Write
reports
· Procurement
and stock keeping of fittings, tools, and plumbing equipment.
· Perform
inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts
· Test
plumbing systems for leaks and other problems
· Supervise
and facilitate the contracted waste collection, cleaning, and landscaping of
onsite attendants
Required Specifications
· Relevant
professional certification in plumbing
· 3 years
of experience serving as a grade of artisan I or in a comparable position
· Proactive
and results-oriented
· Honesty

· Proven
integrity and ability as reflected in work performance and results
· Team
player
· Innovative
and creative in problem-solving
· Flexible
to work night shift , public holidays and weekends
