Our client is an Electronics
Retail Company based in Nairobi seek to hire ambitious and energetic online
marketers to help expand their business and penetrate the market. S/He should
have a flair for networking with top companies.
Responsibilities.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that
expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
- Identifying market opportunities through meetings,
networking, and other channels.
- Meeting existing and potential clients.
- Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and
marketing strategies and drive Offline Marketing initiatives
- Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences
and designing, managing, and evaluating marketing campaigns
- Research and identify the needs of the company and
customize solutions.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while
being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Suggest sales training programs and techniques for
the sales team.
- Conceptualizing strategies to market products,
generate sales conversions and deliver a superior customer experience.
- Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly,
and annual objectives and ensure that the campaigns are within the budgets
- Initiate and execute offline activations to increase
awareness and adoption by using print media, billboards, ATL/BTL
marketing, and other conventional marketing techniques.
- Plan, develop social media campaigns, and analyze
the running of these campaigns.
- Crafting compelling content and getting it posted
across top latest social media accounts.
- Providing technical as well as various
application-related support to the sales and marketing teams and customers.
- Maintaining pricing information on specific products.
- Participating in product development and
go-to-market processes.
- Identifying new sales and marketing channels and
technologies as well as finding the best solutions to promote the business.
- Directing social media engagement strategy and
Reviewing advertising material for digital, electronic & print media
- Collaborating with advertising agencies for brand
awareness and lead-generation activities
- Preparing advertising contracts with different
advertising agencies
- Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional
campaigns.
- Promoting our projects at trade shows and major
industry-related events.
- Building a strong brand image by working with
electronic and print media partners.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma
in a Business-related field.
- Minimum
2-3 years experience in a business development role.
- Previous
experience working as an online or Convectional Marketer will be an added
advantage.
- A
demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams to deliver to consistently
high standards.
- Dynamic,
ability to multi-task, work in a team, under pressure and own initiative,
and close a sale.
- Excellent
spoken and written communication skills and a proven ability to present to
high-level stakeholders in a confident and mature manner.
- Excellent
interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage internal and
external customers.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of all
Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to deliver agreed KPIs in a result-driven
environment.
