Brand Manager, Content
Job Description.
This role is responsible for developing and
executing online content strategy for all aspects of KCB online, ensuring the
Bank’s Portals, Social Media Assets Blog and App have current, sharable, and
interesting content to drive brand equity and business objectives of trial,
conversion & usage.
Key
Responsibilities
- Plan, produce, publish, and
distribute content on all KCB’s online assets and beyond to reach the
bank’s various customer segments.
- Collaborate across bank functions
and Partners to deliver the implementation of the editorial and engagement
calendar for the bank’s portals, social media platforms, blog, and app to
meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost.
- Collaborate with internal teams
and the Digital Agency, particularly the community managers, to generate
and maintain an always-on engagement calendar as well as deliver content
plans that are well integrated to support Brand and Product campaigns.
- Develop editorial and messaging
governance and workflows so content is delivered consistently and in line
with our brand voice, style, and tone.
- Ensure the bank KCB’s presence
remains unique and strong on social media platforms driving high
engagement and traffic through an always-on engagement plan in-line with
the content strategy.
- Network with business functions
to identify opportunities for new content to engage different customer
audiences.
- Manage KCB’s website and portal
development all bank assets are up to date with the latest content and
perform optimally.
- Collaborate with business teams
to ensure that all bank portals are always updated with the latest content
and assets optimized to support ongoing campaigns.
- Content audit to ensure no
outdated content or dead links, fix links that don’t work and pictures
that aren’t appearing properly.
- Ensure web-based information is
archived for future needs and reference.
- Track and report on all website
and content metrics including SEO, traffic, UX, etc., and propose
improvements.
- Keep current with emerging web
content trends through relevant blogs, sites, and events.
The Person
For the above position, the successful
applicant should have the following:
- University Degree from a
recognized institution.
- At least 4 years’ experience in
Content Creation and Management, with at least 3 years of experience in
Digital Marketing, Content Management Systems, and Website Management.
