Bio Medical Technologist
Essential Qualifications
- Diploma
in Biomedical Engineering.
- Minimum
of 3 years experience in the repair, maintenance and installation of
medical equipment.
- Ability
to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Must
have high standards of integrity and ethical practice.
- Conducts
routine maintenance procedures for assigned equipment as set by the task
requirement for particular equipment and installations.
- Ensures
all Bio Medical equipment are in good working condition and available to
the users at all times.
- Prepares
a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule and executes it for all
hospital equipment.
- Ensures
that all hospital equipment’s are in good working condition at all times.
- Troubleshoots
and prepares detailed report to the Maintenance In-charge for action on
the repairs / spare parts required to fix equipment.
- Responsible
for all repairs and maintenance tools and materials in their custody.
- Observes
and implements all requisite safety procedures and measures.
- Implements
and maintains ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
