Program Accounts Intern
Job Purpose
This position is
responsible for supporting accounting teams with various accounting projects
and tasks in line with the Finance Policies.
Responsibility
- Shadowing
the finance team in performance of duties
- Assist
in maintaining of records accurately
- Recording
and maintaining up to date assets and inventory registers
- Assist
in audit preparations
- Support
in petty cash management
- Ensuring
that timesheets are correctly filled and filed on a timely manner
- Taking
on additional finance and administration tasks as required to learn more
about accounting and finance operations
- Handling
sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Maintains
open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
- Perform
other duties/projects as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree
in any relevant field
- ACCA
or CPA
- Excellent
interpersonal, written, verbal and collaboration skills.
- Creative,
resourceful and eager to learn.
- Ability
to thrive working collaboratively with both senior colleagues
- Knowledge
of sign language is an added advantage but not essential
