Our client is an
established hospital that mainly specializes in obstetrics and gynecology but
also competent to handle all other general medical conditions. They are
currently looking to hire a Human Resource Manager who will provide advice and
support to managers on the HR aspect within the business and also support the
administrative functions as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports the HR unit in interpretation advising and
communicating to staff on HR policies, procedures, changes and ensuring
adherence to the same
- Supports recruitment, retention and resourcing,
contract administration and monitoring, induction, probation reviews,
performance management, staff development tasks, job evaluation among
others
- Supports HR matrices by gathering relevant data as
required on a monthly basis and sharing with management for analysis.
- Prepare, compile and dispatch documents,
correspondence, reports and presentations for efficient and effective
communication
- Supports the hospital administration on various
benefit schemes including insurance and pension schemes.
- Must be conversant with currently existing labour
laws
- Works closely and supports hospital administration
to ensure end to end completion of document processing; document
generation, employees’ files, payroll among others that are generated
throughout the employee life cycle.
- Key person in close monitoring of all departments
with particular interest in the front office team (department) to ensure
customer satisfaction is upheld
- Overseeing quality improvement for efficient
delivery of services in the hospital
- Guiding in setting operational standards and targets
for various departments
- Ensures the hospital runs efficiently and delivers
quality patients’ care in collaboration with other management team
- Addressing consultants’ needs and ensuring patients
quality medical care and well-being
- Must have good morals and relations with both staff
and patients
- Reports any incidents to the administrator
- Safeguards hospital assets and equipment in the
institution
- Must wear name tag always when on duty
- Can be deployed to any of the institution branches
- Any other task as may be assigned
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Human Resource Management or a business related field.
- A postgraduate Diploma in Human
Resource Management is an added advantage.
- Professional
membership (IHRMK Membership) and CHRP Certification is a must.
- At
least 8 years of experience in a busy HR environment with three years in
management.
- Previous
experience in a hospital will be an added advantage.
- Strong
leadership, managerial skills and ability to influence decisions at an
executive level.
- Relationship management and strong communications
skills.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Be willing to work for a startup, set up
processes/department from scratch, ability to run a business on lean costs.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain
relationships with people at all levels who represent a variety of diverse
backgrounds.
