Duties and
Responsibilities
- Ensuring
compliance with fire safety standards;
- Preparation
of estimates related to fire installations;
- Inspection
of buildings to asses fire hazards and risks;
- Supervision
of installation, repair and maintenance of fire equipment in public
buildings, hospitals, conference centers and institutions; conducting fire
investigations and compiling reports.
Qualifications
- Be
unemployed graduate from a recognized institution having graduated within
the last three (3) years (2020,2021,2022);
- Bachelors
Degree in any of the following disciplines:
Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Chemical Engineering or equivalent and
relevant qualification from a recognized Institution;
- First
Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. St.
John’s Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology
(KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
- Have
no previous work experience related to the area of study;
- Certificate
of good conduct.
