continuously seek to conduct thorough research on different ailments and put in
place methods of testing them.
We
are looking for committed individuals to accomplish these assignments.
Duties
and Responsibilities
· Sample
collection and processing
· Assist in running of laboratory assays for the project Lab Results processing and reporting
· Field
Data collection and management
· Assist
in other tasks to support the project as required. Provide administrative
assistance.
Qualifications
& Requirements
· A Bachelor’s
Degree in Biological sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Clinical
Medicine, Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Technology, Public Health, Statistics,
Mathematics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or Applied Sciences from a recognized
institution
· A
Master’s Degree is an added advantage
· Valid
License from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians Technologist Board. (KMLTTB)
· Proficiency
with molecular laboratory equipment with recent attachment in a
parasitology/molecular biology laboratory;
· Familiarity
with molecular biology techniques; DNA extraction, PCR and Qpcr;
· Knowledgeable
in Sequencing and Sequencing data analysis; Accuracy and close attention to
detail; and
· Strong
analytical and organization skills.
