Sales Manager Job in Kenya

Our client, a dairy production company, seeks to hire a Sales Manager.

He/she will be responsible for formulating and implementing sales strategies, ensuring sales targets are met, and leading a sales team.

Duties and Responsibilities

·  Formulate and implement sales and marketing strategies

·  Set sales targets and ensure they are met

·  Proactively identify leads, pursue and close leads

·  Grow the company’s market share across board

·  Grow brand awareness and visibility

·  Establish and maintain strong client relationships

·  Conduct market research and keep abreast with market trends

·  Ensure product supply chain processes and standards are followed

·  Create the sales budget and manage expenditure

·  Recruit, coach, motivate, appraise and manage a dynamic sales team

·  Submit sales reports as required by the senior management


·  Spearhead a strong customer-centric culture.

Required Specifications

·  Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales and marketing of dairy products

·  Able to manage large sales production

·  Aggressive in selling and with a great sales track record

·  Bachelor’s degree in business, sales and marketing or any related field

·  Flexible, highly motivated and able to travel frequently

·  Able to drive the sales process from plan to close

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Able to recruit, on board, develop and manage a sales team

·  A strong, resilient, result-oriented individual and an excellent team player
