 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertaking research on assigned legal issues.
  • Collecting and collating research data.
  • Interviewing customers for proper referrals.
  • Maintaining a database of legal research materials for use by attorneys and other members of the legal profession
  • Preparing briefing memos, reports, and other written materials summarizing research findings
  • Writing legal briefs that present arguments based on research findings
  • Identifying relevant legal precedents and associated case law for use in legal arguments or briefs
  • Conducting preliminary research to identify relevant issues and establish a framework for further research

Qualifications


  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen
  • Bachelor of law LLB degree from a recognized University.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
  • Post graduate Diploma in legal studies from the Council of legal Education.
  • Be advocate of the High Court of Kenya with current practicing certificate
  • Must be a member of Law Society of Kenya
  • 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Proficiency Certificate in Computer application.

  • Tax compliance certificates
  • Clearance from HELB where necessary
  • Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
  • Clearance from the CRB.
  • Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
