tech-enabled primary care model for Africa by leveraging on existing,
hyper-fragmented care infrastructure. We partner with high potential healthcare
entrepreneurs running the 200,000+ primary care centres that deliver care to
hundreds of millions of patients across the continent each year, and equip them
with the physical and digital tools they need to provide better healthcare. Our
technology platform supports our clinician partners in delivering better care
to their patients as well as streamlining their clinic operations. Founded in
2019, we have partnered with over 1,300 independent clinics across Kenya
providing a direct pathway to over 3 million patients yearly.
The Role
Ilara Health is seeking to
recruit a Finance Associate to support the Finance and Accounting function in
day-to-day operations as well as maintain order and transparency for the
company’s finances. The ideal candidate should be well versed in financial principles
and able to work comfortably with numbers and great attention to detail.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Analyse and review daily
collections reconciliation reports for each of our payment channels for
our accounts receivables.
- Assist in ensuring proper
documentation of payment vouchers and all other supporting documents.
- Assist in ensuring efficient,
timely and accurate recording of payments and tracking of accounts
payable.
- Assist in preparing and
processing bank payments and reconciliation of banking activities
- Assist in preparing payment
vouchers ensuring proper documentation and recording to the accounting
system on a daily basis.
- Assist in balancing general
ledger accounts
- Assist in creating and analysing
financial reports
- Assist with audit related duties.
- Support month-end closing
procedures by passing necessary entries
- Assist in performing other duties
as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in Finance/Commerce/Business/Economics.
- MS
office proficiency
- Excellent
knowledge of MS Excel is an added advantage.
