SENIOR INVESTMENT APPRAISAL & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER, GRADE KDC 5 (3 Posts)
Job Purpose
The Senior Investment
& Administration Officer will be responsible for the development and review
of investment and loan recovery policies, monitoring and evaluation of the
existing investments and recommending appropriate strategies; and managing the
credit risk on the loan portfolio in the most profitable and cost-effective
manner in line with KDC objectives.
Duties and responsibilities will entail;
- Scanning
the market and develop new business;
- Appraising
investment proposals;
- Contributing
in negotiation of project documents;
- Disbursing
to approved projects;
- Monitoring
post investment progress of projects;
- Building
and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
(c) Person Specification
For a candidate to be
appointed to this position, they must have;
- At
least four (4) years’ relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s
degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics,
Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized institution;
- Certified
qualification in any of the following; Financial Analyst (CFA), Investment
and Financial Analyst (CIFA), Public Accountant (CPA (K) or Association of
Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA (UK) or equivalent qualification from
a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
- Member
of a relevant professional body.
- Knowledge
and experience in statistics, data collection, analysis and presentation;
- Excellent
financial modeling skills;
- Excellent
business acumen;
- Supervisory
course lasting not less than two (2) weeks
- Good
interpersonal, and communication skills;
- Proficiency
in Computer Applications.
- Team
player;
- Fulfilled
the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
