Description
Key Performance Areas:
- Prepare
work schedules for the purpose of documenting and communicating activities
as required.
- Direct
and supervise Mechanical maintenance fitters on assigned duties.
- Supervise
and manage the execution of routine and preventive maintenance programs.
- Determine
material, equipment/supplies and reserving of the same for issue from
stores.
- Compile
and submit technical work and breakdown reports as well as maintenance of
departmental documents records.
- Participate
in the diagnosis and repair of major faults and breakdowns.
- Ensure
observance of safety rules, regulations and practices.
- Assign
and Control departmental overtime.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements :
- Diploma
in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- At
least 3 years relevant experience in a similar position, preferably in the
manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge
of Auto CAD.
- Excellent
organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability
to read and interpret machine, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic drawings.
- Good
knowledge of Hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge
of ERP SAP PM Module.
- Planned
Maintenance(Time based maintenance, Condition based maintenance,
Corrective Maintenance)
- Autonomous
Maintenance & Good knowledge of Continuous improvement projects.
- Total
productive maintenance knowledge
- Ability
to work in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency
in MS Office.
- Fluency
in oral and written English and Kiswahili languages.
